I'm breeding marbled crayfish (marmorkrebs) they self clone so I'm hoping to have great success with these ladies :) does anyone else have any experience with these wonderful crayfish???

Well I sold 1 and now have 2 and they are both berried and very shy now.

Yeah 1 of mine just had hers. The other female is taking a little longer to get pregnant either that or she is waiting for the little ones to get bigger. :) I have somewhere between 50 to 70 of these lil guys swimming around.

Well I sold one of my last 2 and the customers berried up before my remaining one did. Well she berried and then went into shy/hiding mode for about 4 weeks. About a week ago I saw the babies hatched and were still holding on to Mom/Dad. Yesterday morning I started to see babies emerging and will get a better look today when the lights are on. I heard the Adult does not eat the babies like other crays but still plan on removing her today just to be safe. More info as it unfolds.....

I realize this is an old thread, but I just discovered this forum, lol. I've been working on these gals for a few months and I've had several berry up nicely. I currently have 10 full adults, 5 juvies, and 50 fry. I'll post a pic later of their tank, very cool, used black obsidian in that one.
