what does everyone here feed there little guys. mine mostly clear up dead plant matter and and get algae wafers. is there anything in particular is should be feeding to promote spawning
I use a combination of prepared and natural foods. I keep kettapang leaves and alder cones to graze on between feedings. Prepared foods are Hikari Shrimp Cuisine, Algae wafer, Flake food and Azoo products. Once a week or 2 I give blanched spinach or squash.
If you are not seeing any breeding going on, try adding a food based with animal proteins once or twice a week for egg development. Might be the missing ingredient !
